Cheviot St, Mangawhai
Project type
Bespoke House New Build
Date
December 2025
Location
Mangawhai, NZ
This contemporary coastal home draws on the simplicity of NZ pavilion architecture, with paired gable forms and a contrasting palette of dark Vulcan Ultraclad ShadoLine and Accoya Grey cedar timber cladding. Generous glazing with an elevated outdoor living deck to embrace the beautiful Mangawhai coastal views, while glass balustrades maintain an open outlook. Timber pergola, natural stone and coastal planting soften the building’s strong lines, grounding the home into its landscape.
